Takefusa Kubo - The Japanese Messi

“He was one of the best players in our home base and probably the best of recent years. What makes it worst is that I know he’s very good.”
- One of Kubo’s coaches in Barça’s La Masia after he signed for Real Madrid:
Takefusa Kubo joined Barcelona in 2011 and stunned everyone with his extraordinary ability. His dribbling and finishing earned him the title of " The Japanese Messi"
However due to a UEFA ruling on Barcelona for under age signings he had to go back to Japan . He kept shining there and attracted global attention , and it was deemed that he will return to Barcelona but Real Madrid swooped in at the right moment and signed him up for free due to their swiftness and efficiency.
The one aspect that stands out the most about him is his confidence. He truly believes that he belongs amongst the Elite. Coming to his footballing abilities , he's a technically gifted player. He has a first touch that is second to very few youngsters in the game and he uses his dribbling to get away from players who are more physical than him. He is also gifted with an outstanding vision which helps him open up defenses with his perfectly weighted passes that can thread a needle.
There are a lot of young talents at RM but if I had to put my money on one to definitely make it big , it will be Takefusa Kubo. This kid is simply a baller 🔥
